Material Handler Lead - 1st Shift

As a Senior Material Handler Lead, you will have an important role on our team by providing day-to-day leadership of the department processes and resources. Pay, benefits and more. What youll do on a typical day: Ensure all work is performed safely and according to safety procedures Provide on-the-job training to new associates on department processes Participate and direct a team using Lean warehousing methodologies Perform departmental processes and safely operate equipment to complete duties What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, youll need: High school diploma or equivalent 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of ERP systems Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) Knowledge of QMS (Quality Management Systems) and Lean Warehousing Experience operating material handling equipment and using an RF scanner Be part of something big.
